It’s been interesting to see how so many “job creators” and their pals who complain about the cost of employer-provided health care still want employers rather than government having the biggest say regarding health care coverage for American workers and their families. Gotta keep that economic thumb over us “ordinary” people, right, bossos?
A corollary: Ever notice, as Philip Mattera so well explained in his landmark 1990 book Prosperity Lost and so many others have described as well, how many employers are willing to sacrifice even *profit* and other things that ultimately benefit business if those things would mean giving up any power and control over employees and job applicants?
